Yesterday the commercial launched for the immortal cash campaign. The Colorado Lottery came out with a new scratch ticket, featuring a vampire. This is the very first campaign that I was able to work on at Cactus Marketing. I helped formulate insights in the the target audience. This entailed hours of research on twilight, twilight moms, vampire culture and everything in between. We ultimately changed the Lottery's mind on who their target was- being twimoms. I was able to be a part of the strategic planning, the creative review meetings, and the actual commercial production. Everyone at Cactus is so talented and I'm really proud of all the work! Love Cactus, love my job.

Be Patient...
Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart
And try to love the questions themselves.
Do not seek the answers that cannot be given you
Because you would not be able to live them
And the point is to live everything
Live the questions now
Perhaps you will gradually without noticing it
Live along some distant day into the answers.

Live it, love it.
The system is that there is no system. That doesn’t mean we don’t have process. Apple is a very disciplined company, and we have great processes. But that’s not what it’s about. Process makes you more efficient … But innovation comes from people meeting up in the hallways or calling each other at 10:30 at night with a new idea, or because they realized something that shoots holes in how we’ve been thinking about a problem. It’s ad hoc meetings of six people called by someone who thinks he has figured out the coolest new thing ever and who wants to know what other people think of his idea.

Denver Cruisers
Denver Cruisers has become the biggest coordinated weekly ride in the country, and right here in my home city. They did a time-lapse of last wednesdays Rave theme.
